It’s time!
But, before we get into the chart there’s yet another file available for download regarding the project.
I know there are people who would like to have information about those three mysterious letters in their archives so I edited the blog post a bit and made a *.pdf file out of it. You can download it using this link (Right click and “Save” – please do NOT open the file from the link directly!): Those Three Mysterious Letters.
I have stitched half of the first part already just to give you a better image of what the design will look like when stitched.
I’m stitching mine on 40 count Flax Newcastle linen using one strand of Anchor’s 45 (main) and 1084 (contrast).
You can download the first chart right clicking the picture below and saving the chart (”Save Link As” or somesuch, depending on your browser) on your computer.
Do NOT link directly to the files – also do NOT share the design through email, forums, blogs, photo hosts or through any electronic or physical media! If you wish to let your friends know about the first part use the url of this entry (http://periphaeria.com/tales/2011/02/01/start_sampler_sal_part_one/).
If you enjoy the design please vote us at:
When you are done with part one, please, email a picture (periphaeria at gmail dot com)or post a comment with a link to your blog or online photo album so we can all see how beautiful your version is!
And now… HAVE FUN!

My computer does not like tif format. We have had to do all sorts of magic to make it work. BUT the design will be fab!!!
This is absolutely beautiful, but my computer won’t let me save this nor can I print it…*sigh* I would love to participate. *Hugs* DJ
