I have a question for you
Would you find it better to have finishing instructions accompany all the designs (finishing instruction for the method I have finished the design with), have them as separate items (which would then probably include colour pictures to clarify my blabbering, but would also cost something) or are you happy with current state of affairs?

I think finishing instructions are always nice accompanying the design. I also think it’s useful to have finishing instructions in greater detail with images available on the company website.
I’m not so sure how succesful sales would be if one would have to actually buy finishing instructions since a quick search on the web would turn up free alternative finishing methods.
Just my 2 cents.
Finishing instructions, definitely. Preferably included with the chart. I have heard much griping on other boards about designers selling expensive finishing instructions separately. You could always raise your prices slightly if you start to include the instructions?
If the sample is shown as a framed piece, then no, I wouldn’t want nor expect finishing instructions.
If it is shown as a flat fold or biscornu or needlebook or box etc, then I would definitely want the instructions included with the chart.
Ditto raising prices a bit to off-set the cost of including said instructions.
I would *not* purchase finishing instructions that were sold separately. One can find such things online for free after all, as another commenter mentioned.
Excellent suggestions … include and small increase …. I think it’s worth it to know how to get the best look from the pattern
