Advantages of model stitching
You’d never guess the advantages of model stitching your designs before you confront your first possible Boo-boo. It surprises even a person who actually has some designing studies in one’s background how something can look good as a pattern, but when in its actual media, lacks something.
In this case I am very pleased with the design itself and how it looks when stitched, but if I leave the design untouched, from what it is now, it will only work as a biscornu and, honestly, I prefer to design versatile designs – even I may design certain designs with a spesific finishing method in mind.
But still, this little problematic one has been wonderful to stitch. Now I just need to give my brains few free days from it and decide then what I’ll do with it. Maybe I just have to accept the fact that some designs just want to have a defined finishing method, no matter do I like it or not. (I know I am the one who designs them, but in certain sense they have their own life once they are in image form.)
By the way, I had my first comment! *waves to Susan*.
