Welcome to the home of the Spanish Sampler Mystery Stitch-A-Long by Periphaeria Designs!
Houston, we miss a stitch!
Howdy folks!
I was just kindly informed by CristinG that part 3b lacks one stitch from one of the petals. It is symbol |, VC 1431/ DMC 902, placed 18 x 18 stitches from the origo (point zero).
The petals are meant to be symmetric and I will post a fixed chart right away. :)
It's that time again! Actually the time is tomorrow, but as I will take a ferry early in the morning and visit Tallinn tomorrow I decided to publish the third part now. :)
Third part comes in two parts, as both of the bands are rather small. The preview images should be used as a guide for your stitching direction (i.e. 3a has "normal" origo in the left and 3b has its origo on its top). Without further ado, here they are! Read more >>
Note: the silk packs are measured for stitching with one strand over two fabric threads. If you are stitching the project on lower counts (anything under 36) I recommend that you buy two packs.
And, if you wish to use the same black 30 count linen I do (it's lovely to stitch on, I promise!) Leena from Violarium has promised that if you buy this particular cut from her and mention while ordering that it comes for this project she will cut you a bit bigger piece.
Year 2008 seems to be the year of Stitch-A-Longs and I am happy to announce you that Periphaeria Designs is having its own Stitch-A-Long in form of a Spanish Sampler Mystery SAL! The SAL begins 15th of March, 2008 which means that you have some time to think about the project and find suitable floss(es) and fabric for it and grid it.
